I’m really on one right now trying to work so many techniques to improve my skill set and stumble on technical things as well as the magic that happens in art when you just let loose and paint from your gut. I enjoy going from technical drawings to loose abstracts and watching the blend and influence each has on the other. The main theme in my art right now is enjoying where I’m at, having fun, and slow steady improvements in technique, decision making, trust, pushing forward recklessly w angst, and hopefully mixed in w just the right amount of restraint!

Apparently once you have 3 pieces from one artist you are in the collector club. I was lucky enough to meet Juliette at an event in Ojai, and I think we hit it off so well because of our respect for each others’ craft. She is a genius and one of the greats, and has been such a positive influence on me in the months I’ve known her. Check out the 3 pieces she loved and added to her art collection.
